Typical Processes

No matter what kind of feedstock your business intends to process, there are certain stages in a industrial pelleting lines it needs to undergo:

Pre-treatment of feedstock

Depending on the type of raw material, certain cleaning processes might be required, as for example metals and non-ferrous metals separation, heavy fraction separation, etc.


Depending on the size of the raw material, a pre-shredding process might be required. It is usually recommended if the particle size of the feedstock exceeds 30mm.

Drying (if required)

Depending on the physical properties of the raw material and its initial moisture content, we implement two different types of dryers: belt-, or drum- dryers provided to us by our reliable partners

Hammer milling

One  of the most important step in the preparation of raw material for granulation is the unification of the size of particles, which is necessary to produce high-quality granules and reduce the amount of dust.


 Just before the pelleting process, the raw material undergo the process of steaming with water or technological steaming process in a conditioner, which is required for the professional production of pellets.


The main process is pelleting, which takes place in dedicated industrial grade pellet press GR2 series, with a reinforced structure for high-performance & production of high-quality pellets.


Counterflow coolers have to fulfil four functions: reduction of the moisture content, an increase in the mechanical durability, increase of energy value and reduction of pellets temperature


The vibrating sifter separates unwanted crumbs, dust and small pieces of pellets and directs them to the pneumatic transport system, which returns the rejects back to the press – nothing is wasted.

Storage & packaging of pellets

 The refined pellets can be stored in a variety  of storage silos. Everything depends on the method of final distribution: loose or packed.The ready pellets can be stored in bulk or small 15-20kg bags
